Clinical Psychology Advanced Graduate Practicum

Boston Children’s Hospital’s Advanced Graduate Psychology Practicum is an integrated program with in-service training at five sites (outlined below). The program provides in-depth training in neuropsychological and diagnostic assessment, differential diagnosis, treatment planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration in pediatric care.Program features:

  • Weekly individual supervisory sessions with a licensed clinical psychologist
    (minimum one hour)
  • Group Supervision
  • Grand Rounds
  • Journal Clubs
  • Seminars
  • Clinical and research presentations in a peer supervisory setting.

Boston Children’s Hospital is dedicated to improving the lives of children and young adults with developmental, psychiatric, learning, and behavioral difficulties through integrated and collaborative clinical care, training, clinical and translational research, neuroscience, and community engagement and collaboration. The interdisciplinary staff comprises developmental-behavioral pediatricians, child psychologists, child psychiatrists, neurologists, nurse practitioners, and educational specialists. Our patients include children with developmental, psychiatric and behavioral challenges that are not well met in the general medical and mental health communities.

Application Procedures

Applications will be accepted through March 2026. Interviews and positions will be offered on a rolling basis until all spots are filled.

To apply for the 2026 – 2027 BCH Clinical Psychology Advanced Graduate Practicum, please fill out this Google Form. You must upload the following to complete your application:

  • Resume/CV
  • Cover letter
  • 2 letters of recommendation
  • 1-2 de-identified neuropsychological or psychological evaluation reports (please indicate which sections were written by you).

You will be asked to indicate your site preferences(s). Please note that trainees may still be considered for Practicum sites they do not indicate as their top choice.
