TNC Named Clinical Coordinating Center for Aligning Research Impact Autism Initiative (ARIA) for the Innovative Medicine and Precision Approaches to Clinical Trials (IMPACT) Network
The TNC is honored to be selected as the co-leading Clinical Coordinating Center (CCC) for the Aligning Research to Impact Autism (ARIA) Initiative for the Innovative Medicine and Precision Approaches to Clinical Trials (IMPACT) Network. This is an extraordinary opportunity for our team led by Mustafa Sahin, MD, PhD and our CCC colleagues at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) / Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) led by Shafali S. Jeste, MD, to build a pediatric clinical trial network for neurodevelopmental disorders. The CCC serves as the nucleus of the IMPACT Network, providing clinical research operations and administrative leadership and oversight. Through leadership of the CCC, the TNC will help support study design, recruitment and enrollment, infrastructure creation, and the standardization of workflows for future clinical studies and trials.
Aligning Research to Impact Autism (ARIA) is a scientific initiative looking to understand and treat neurodevelopmental disorders by connecting research and new technologies to create more therapeutic opportunities for individual with profound autism and those on the spectrum looking for additional support. The ARIA IMPACT Network is designed to accelerate clinical trials for individuals with autism by bringing together an international network of sites.
